Bio

Hi, my name is Nabeel Pervaiz and I’m a photographer and producer based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Over the last few years I’ve been focused on specializing in fashion photography, portraits, food & beverage photography, travel photography, and corporate content production, while also building a portfolio that includes street photography and live event documentation (photo & video). My professional experience in project management has also led to a natural ability to act as a producer for creative projects requiring teams of any size, and content for all platforms.

After a successful career in academia – I hold bachelors and masters degrees in health sciences and am a published scholar – I realized that my true passion is in the creative world, and so a few years ago I began pursuing creative endeavours that included writing, music and entertainment. I was able to create and manage two successful Toronto-based music websites, which allowed me to extend my creative network and learn from some of the most talented people in the city. This was an outlet for me, but did not seem to satisfy my creative itch. Then, during a period of self-doubt and confusion, a friend of mine handed me a camera and another world revealed itself to me. I was hooked, and spent just as much time researching everything I could about photography as I had done researching bone tissue sarcoma (great story, feel free to ask me about it.)

As my photography skills continued to sharpen, professional opportunities began to arise, allowing me the privilege of working with several businesses, entertainers, musicians and models. In 2018 I decided to focus on photography full time, and now I get to spend every day capturing people, places, and things in ways that I could never have envisioned. That’s the part that I love. I’ve been able to manage the video and photo production teams for major music festivals, built an entire online presence for a luxury restaurant, and work with international recording artists – but the thing that makes this all worth it is that I get to hold a camera every day, and show the world what it looks like through my eyes.
